2013-08-06 SA Minutes (Special)MINUTES OF THE REGULAR SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF VERNON MEETING HELD AUGUST 6, 2013, IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBER OF THE CITY HALL LOCATED AT 4305 SANTA FE AVENUE VERNON, CALIFORNIA ________________________________________________ MEMBERS PRESENT: McCormick, Davis, Maisano, Ybarra, Martinez MEMBERS ABSENT: None The meeting was called to order at 10:35 a.m. by Chairperson McCormick. Interim City Clerk Dana Reed announced that there are no changes to the agenda. Reed announced that this was the time allotted for public comment. Chairperson McCormick inquired whether anyone in the audience wished to address the Agency. No one responded. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Davis and seconded by Maisano to approve the items listed under Consent Calendar under one motion as presented. Motion carried, 5-0. 1. Minutes of the Special Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency Meeting held June 18, 2013, to be received and filed. 2. Minutes of the Regular Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency Meeting held July 2, 2013, to be received and filed. 3. Approval of RDA Obligation Retirement Fund Warrant Register No. 13, totaling $3,435.00 which covers the period of June 25, through July 29, 2013, and consist of the following: a. Ratification of the issuance of early checks totaling $105.00; and b. Authorization to issue pending checks totaling $3,330.00. Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency Regular Meeting Minutes August 6, 2013 Page 2 of 2 ORAL REPORTS Assistant to City Administrator Alex Kung reported that Angelus Can has vacated the property located at 4900 Pacific Boulevard. He advised that while the property is vacant, staff intends to install an alarm to deter theft while the long-range property management plan is being processed by the Department of Finance. In the interim, Police are conducting extra patrol in the area. With no further business, at 10:37 a.m., it was moved by Maisano and seconded by Martinez to adjourn the meeting.
