Light & Power staff will provide an annual update on the City’s Renewable Portfolio Standard (“RPS”) program performance for Compliance Period No. 1 and discuss how City progress relates to the RPS pass through to customers. 2. Light & Power staff will discuss the possibility of participating in the Astoria II Solar Project through Southern California Public Power Authority (“SCPPA”) as a means to add to the City’s renewable energy portfolio and effectively achieve compliance with SBx1 2 RPS requirements. 3. Light & Power staff will provide an update on the renewable resource development project in the City owned property in the Tehachapi Mountains.
