TRUSTEES MEETING OF THE CITY OF VERNON HELD TUESDAY,
JUNE 6, 2017, AT 9:00 A.M. OR SOON THERE AFTER THE PUBLIC
BENEFITS RESOURCES COMMITTEE ADJORNS ITS MEETING IN
THE CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBER, LOCATED AT 4305 SANTA
FE AVENUE, VERNON, CALIFORNIA
MEMBERS PRESENT:Ybarra, Woodruff-Perez, Davis, Martinez, and Lopez
MEMBERS ABSENT:None
President Ybarra called the meeting to order at 9:45 a.m.
City Clerk Maria Ayala announced that there were no changes to the agenda.
PUBLIC COMMENT
President Ybarra announced that this was the time allotted for public comment and inquired
whether anyone in the audience wished to address the Committee. The public will also be given
a chance to comment on matters which are on the posted agenda during Committee deliberation
on those specific matters.

MINUTES – RECEIVE AND FILE
1.Minutes of the Regular Board of Library Trustees meeting held on June 7, 2016
It was moved by Davis and seconded by Martinez to approve Minutes of the Regular Board of
Library Trustees Meeting held June 7, 2016. Motion carried, 5-0.
ORAL REPORTS
2.Brief reports on activities, other brief announcements, and directives to staff.
City Clerk Ayala briefly reported that a new library concept was being formed. A brief dialogue
ensued between the Trustees and staff regarding grant funding for library services.
With no further business, President Ybarra adjourned the meeting at 9:47 a.m.
