SUBJECT: Request for Approval of Change Order No. 5 - Wood Group Services, Inc.
On August 2, 2006 the City Council approved Amendment No.1 to the Thomason Mechanical
Agreement in an amount not to exceed $200,000.00 in accordance with Resolution No. 9101. This
amendment continued mechanical, technical and operations support for the Malburg Generating
Station.
Contract Change Order No. 1 approved on April 9, 2007, Contract Change Order No. 2 approved on
April 26, 2007, Contract Change Order No. 3 approved August 7, 2007 and Contract Change Order
No. 4 approved on April 21, 2008 revised the total contract amount to a cost not to exceed
$612,000.00.
It is hereby recommended that the attached proposed Contract Change Order No. 5 to Amendment
No. 1 to the Original Services Agreement with Wood Group Field Services, Inc. (formally Thomason
Mechanical), be approved in an amount not to exceed $50,000.00. If approval is granted, this will
revise the Amendment No. 1 amount to a cost not to exceed $662,000.00.
