1. City Administration
a.A Resolution of the City Council of the City of
Vernon, California, Ordering the Submission to the
Qualified Electors of the City of a Certain Measure
Relating to the Repeal of Vernon City Charter Chapter
8.12 at the General Election to be held on Tuesday,
April 12, 2011, as Called by Resolution No. 2010-167.
b.Approval of an agreement with Akin Gump Strauss Hauer
& Feld LLP, and authorization for the City
Administrator, or his designee, to make modifications
to the agreement, and take whatever actions are deemed
necessary to implement and carry out the terms of the
agreement.
