ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING.
An adj ourned regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of' the
Oity of Vernon~ county of Los Angeles~ State of california, was
held on the 9th day of Maroh l~l 5, at 2 0 I clock
P. M. of said day at the regular meeting place of said Board in
said City of Vernon, which said place is the place fixed by ordi-
nance for regular meetings of said Board to be held, pursuant to
adjournment from the regular meeting held the 5th day of

There were present at such meeting Trustees, Furlong, Durbin,
stevens, Leonis and Kniffin.
There were absent from such meeting Trustee, None.

Ordinance Iro. 153, entitled an ordinance regulating the carrying
on of certainbusineeses in the City of Vernon, was read for the
second t~e and adopted.
Ordinanoe No. Ib4 entitled an ordinanoe regulating the storage
of crude oil or the products thereof and the installation, operation
and maintenanoe of boilers and maohinery in the City of Vernon, wa.s
read for the second.. time and adopted .
Ordinanoe No. 155 granting a permit to the Atohison, Topeka and
Santa Fe Railroad Company to oonstruot a spur traot at 52nd Street
was introduced,readandpassed its first reading.
The Oity Clerk was instructed to find out what license fee other
cities charged lunch wagons.
The Marshal was instructed to enforoe the ordinanoe forbiding

the droping of sand on the streets.
It was moved that a sinking fund of $7312.50 be established to
meet the principal and interest on the bonds.
Thereupon the meeting adjourned.

Ordinance No. 153 entitled an ordinance regulating the carrying
on of certain businesses in the City of Vernon, was read for the second
time and adopted.
Ordinance No. 154 entitled an ordinance regulating the storage
of crude oil or the produots thereof and the installation, operation
and maintenance of boilers and machinery in the City of Vernon, was
read for the seoond time and adopted.
Ordinance No. 155 granting a permit to the Atchison, Topeka and
Santa Fe Railroad Company to construct a spur traot at 52nd street,
was introduoed, read and passed its first reading.
Resolution No. 140 in regard to applications for the transfer of
wholesale and retail liquor licenses was laid over.
The City Clerk was instruoted to find out what lioense fee other

The Marshal was instruoted to enforoe the ordinanoe forbiding the
dropping of sand and gravel on the streets.
It was moved that a sinking fund of .,312.50 be established to
