MEETING.
SP.ECIAL
(
A ~~Q!~ meeting of the Board of Trustees of the city of
Vernon~ Oounty of Lo~ Angeles) and State of California~ was held
on the 9th day of November , 1915, at 2 o'olook P. M. of
said day at the regular meeting plaoe of said Board in said city
of Vernon, which said time and place is the time and place fixed by
ordinance for regular meetings of the said Board to be held.
There were present at such meeting Trustees, Stevens, Kniffin
and Furlong.
There were absent from suoh meeting Trusteee Durbin and Leonis.
President Trustee Furlong
presiding.
The minutes of the meeting
held on November 3rd,
191 5, were: laid over.
Pursuant to cell, duly and regularly had" a Special Meeting
of the Board of Trustees was had on the 9th day of November, 1915,
at the hour of 2 o'cloek p. M. at the regular meeting place of the
Board,
Ordinance No. loa entitled an ordinance advertising sale of
franchise as applied for by the American District Telegraph Company
was read for the first time and passed its first reading.
The Marshal was instructed to grant a permit to the Edison
Light and Power Company to erect poles on 25th street upon the
filing of a map showing the location of such poles and a written
application to erect the same by the Edison Light and Power Company.
Building permits were granted to the fallowing:
Trumlett and Combellick, cottage on 37th and Ross Streets.
Wilshire Oil Company, garage on Lot 0 Day star Tract.
Thereupon the meeting adjourned.
