An adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the
Oity of Vernon, county of Los Angeles, State of california. waS
held on the 3rd day of )lay 191 6, at 2 o'olook
P. M. of said day at the regular meeting plaoe of said Board in
said Oity of Vernon, which said place is the place fixed by ordi-
nance for regular meetings of said Board to be held, pursuant to
adjournment from the regular meeting held the 18th day of
April 191 6,

There were a.bsent from such meeting Trustee, stevens, Leonie
and Durbin.

virtue at it. being the general election.day tor the election
ot delegates to the National Convention, and said 2nd day ot
)lay, 1916 being the first Tuesday in the month and the regular
meeting time tor the Board of Trustees, the meeting of the Board
held on the 18th d~ of April, 1916, by virtue of the law and
the ordinanceeot the City of Vernon, was duly and regularly
ad30urned to the 3rd day of )lay, 1916 by reason of the 2nd
day of May, 1916 being a legal holiday as aforesaid.
There being no quorum present
adjourned.
