ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING.
An adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the
Oity of Vernon, county of Los Angeles, State of california. was
held on the 19th day of May 19l 6, at 2 0 I olook
P. M. of said day at the regular meeting plaoe of said Board in
said Oity of Vernon, whioh said plaoe is the plaoe fixed by ordi-
nanoe for regular meetings of said Board to be held, pursuant to
adjournment from the regular meeting held the 16th day of
May 19l6,
There were present at suoh meeting Trustees, Kniffin, Leonis
and Furlong.
There were absent from suoh meeting Trustee,Durbin and Stevens.
President Trustee
Furlong
presiding.
Th~ minutes of the meeting , held on May 3rd, 1916 and
May 16th, 19l6 , were: laid over.
The Board instructed the Marshal to notity George R. Curtis
to remove his paving plant from 3?th and Ross street in accordance
with his promise to do so.
The Auditor was instructed to report to the Board the cost
of the engineering work on Santa Fe Avenue lying South of Fruitland
Road.
The President of the Board appointed Trustee ~eonis as a
temporary member of the finance committee in the place of Trustee
Stevens who was absent from the meeting.
Thereupon the following warrants were audited and ordered
paid:
