An adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the
Oity of Vernon.. county of Los Angeles.. State of california, was
held on the 6th day of June 191 7.. at 2 0 I clock
P. M. of said day at the regular meeting place of said Board in
said Oity of Vernon.. whioh saidplaoe is the place fixed by ordi-
nanoe for regular meetings of said Board to be held.. pursuant to
adjournment from the regular meeting held the 15th day of May
1917 }

Tuesday the 5th day of June, 191? be~ng a legal holiday by
virtue of its being "Conscription Day" and said 5th day of June,
1917 being the first Tuesday in the month and the regular meeting
time for the Board of Trustees, the meeting of the Board held on
the 15th day of May, 1917, by virtue of the law and the ordinances
of the City of Vernon, was duly and regularly adjourned to the eth
day of Juh~, 1917 by reason of the 5th day of June, 1917 being a
legal holiday as aforesaid.
There being no quorum present the meeting adjourned to the
call of the chair.
