A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of
Vernon, County of Los Angeles, state of California, was held on
the 18th day of October, 1918. at 12:00 o'clock noon, of said day
at the regular meeting place of said Board in said City of Vernon
said meeting having been called by the President of the said Board
of Trustees by written notice delivered to each of the members
of the said Board at least three (3) hours prior to said meeting.
There were present at such meeting, Trustees Furlong, Leonis
and Kniffin. There were absent, Trustees Steyens and Durbin.
President J. J. Furlong. Presiding.
This meeting having been oalled by the President, for the
purpose of acting upon resignation of A. R. Kuhn. Secretary of
the Information Bureau of the City of Vernon. said resignation
dated Ootober 17th, 1918, was read by the Clerk. and upen motion
of Trustee Leonis, seconded by Trustee Kniffin, and carried by
the following Tote, to-wit: Ayes: Trustees Furlong, Leonis and
Kniffin; Noes, Trustees none, Absent, Trustees Durbin and Kniffin,
Mr. Kuhn's resignation was accepted, to take effect November 6th,
1918.
There being no further business for the Board to aot upon at
this meeting, upon motion dull made, seconded and carried, meeting
adjourned.
