19190415 Regular City Council Meeting - Minutes
REGULAR MEETING.
A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of
Vernon, County of Los Angeles, and Stat,e of California, was held
on the 15th day of April , 1919, at 2 o' clock P, M. of
said day at the regular meeting place of said Board in said Oity
of Vernon, which said time and place is the time and place fixed by
ordinance for regular meetings of the said Board to be held.
There were present at such meeting Trustees, Furlong, Kniffin
and Leonis.
There were absent from such meeting Trustee, Durbin and Stevens.

presiding.

were: read by the Clerk,
and laid over.
All unfinished and nevI business before the Board was laid over.
In the absence of two members of the Finance Committee,
Trustee Leonia was, upon motion duly made, seconded and carried,
appointed temporary member of said committee.
The following demands were thereupon presented to the Board for
approval and payment:

and passed by the following vote, to-wit; Ayes: Trustees Furlong,
Leonis and Kniffin, Hoes Trustees none, Absent, Trustees Durbin
and Stevens, all of said demal1d.s with the exception of Hos.
4175, 4176, 4177 and 4178 in the amounts of $208.05, ~163.05,
$35.10 and $12.60 respectively, in the total amount of $765.79
were ap:proved and ordered .paid.

and 4178 of L. A. Paving Go., were laid over for o. 1:. by parties
ordering work done.
Upcn motion duly made, seconded and carried, meeting
adjourned.
