A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City
of Venon. lounty of Los Angeles, State of California. was heJ..d on
the 14th day of August, 1919, at 3 o'clock P. M.. of said day a.t
the regular meeting place of said Board in said City of Vernon.
said meeting having been called by the President of the said Board
of Trustees of the City of Vernon.
There Were present at such meeting, Trustees Furlong,
Kniffin. Leonia and Durbin.
There was absent from such meeting Trustee Stevens.
President Trustee Furlong presiding.
Upon motion regularly made by Trustee Kniffin and
seconded by Trustee Durbin the City Clerk was instruoted to
issue licenses to the holders of suspended liquor licenses.
Said holders of suspended liquor licenses are hereby granted
license to transact busineas in the City of Vernon in conformity
with the provisimns of the Ordinanoes of the City of Vernon
now in force or to be enacted hereafter. and subjeot to all of
the provisions of the United States Statutes.
The City Clerk was instructed to insoribe or cause
to be inscribed. across the face of said licenses the following
words. to wit; .. This license is issued su.bject to all of the
provisions of the United States Statu.tes."
Said motin was carried by the following vote. to wit;
Ayes - Trustees Leonis. Furlong. Kniffin and Durbin.
Noes - None.
Absent- Trustee Stevens.
Upon motion duly made. seconded and carried, meeting
adjourned.
