19190819 Regular City Council Meeting - Minutes
REGULAR MEETING.
A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of
Vernon, County of Los Angeles, and State of California, was held
on the 19th day of Jagast , 1919 , at 2 o'clock P. M. of
said day at the regular meeting place of said Board in said City
of Vernon, which said time and place is the time and place fixed by
ordinance for regular meetings of the said Board to be held.
There were present at such meeting Trustees, Furlong. Leonia
and Xniffill.
There were absent from such meeting Trustee, steve.. and
Durbin.
President Trustee Furlong
presiding.
The minutes of the meeting, held on August 5th. 1919
191 , were: rewl by the Clerk
and upon motion dulJ made. seconded and carried were laid over for
eorreetion.

In the abaence of one member of the Finance Committee
Trustee Leonis was appointed Temporary Member of said Committee.
Request of the City Clerk for additional appropriations
in the following a.counts; Roadways and Alle~8 12,,000.00 and
Street Cleaning and Refus. Colleotio. 0500.00 was read by the
Clerk and upon motion duly made. secondel and earrled was approved.
Communication from The Los Angeles Chamber of Commerca
requesting aweei:ly report of the building permits issued by the
City of Vernon be submitted to their offiee. was read by the Clerk
and ordered filea.
