RESOLUTION of the Board of Trustees of the Ci tJ of Vernon
fixing the tax ra.te o~ the City of Veruon for the year 1919-1920 for
the purpose of raising revenue and to pay the bonded indebtedness of
said c1 tJ.
THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF VERNON DO RmOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
Seotion 1. That. there ahall be. and there is. hereby
levied upon eaCh one hundred dollars worth of propertl in the Oitl of

olution, certify the fact ahd da.te thereof and transmit a oopy of the
same to the County Auclitor of the Countl of Los Angeles. state of
California.

cation of the Highway Transporta.tion Company for a permit to
operate a freight and express transportation line through the
Ci ty of Vernon, was laid over pending the fil.ing of addi tiona.l
data with said application.
Upon motion duly made. seconded and carried the matter
of a.ppointing a pa.ving inapeetor for inspection of the work
being done on East Twenty-sixth Street was referred to Trustee
J. J. Furlong.
