19191202 Regular City Council Meeting - Minutes
REGULAR MEETING.
A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of
Vernon, County of Los Angeles, and State of California, was held
on the 2nd. day of December ,1919 , at 2 o'clock P. M. of
said day at the regular meeting place of said Board in said City
of Vernon, which said time and place is the time and place fixed by
ordinance for regular meetings of the said Board to be held.
There were present at such meeting Trustees, Furlong,Leonie and
Kniffin.
There were absent from such meeting Trustee,.SteT&ns and Durbin.

191 ,were: read by the Clerk and
upoamotion duly made,seconded and carried approved.
Application for building permit of John SWafelt on Lots 13 & 14
Block 18 ,Hu.ntington Park Extension No.l,was granted.
Application for building permit of W.W.Webb on :Lotla. Block 19,
Huntington Park Extension No.1, was granted.
Franchise Tax of the Southern Ca.lifornia Gas Co. For the twelve
months ending September 4th.1919 tin the sum. of $6315.46 was a..Q.cepted.
The matter of danger from floods caused by sandpits along the
Los Angeles river was referred to a committee of the whole.
Upon motion duly made,seconded and carried the meeting adjourned.
