An adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Trustees o~ the

said Oity of Vernon, whioh said plaoe is the plaoe fixed by ordi-
nanoe for regular meetings of said Board to be held, pursuant to
adj ournment from the regular meeting held the 2nd. day of

The following resolution was introduced and read by the Clerk;
RESOLUTION No.18l.
WHEREAS, a general municipal election of the City of Vernon

is to be held in said city on Monday, the 12th. day of April, 1920,
for the purpose of electing two members of the Board of Trustees, a
Clerk and Treasurer of said City, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees by resolution heretofore passed,
has established a consolidated election precinct for the purposes of
said election, said precinct to be known and designated as Consolidated
Election precinct No.1, and
WHEREAS, it is'. necessary and required 'lip.at officers of the
board of election for said Consolidated Election Precinct No.1,
consisting of one inspector, two judges and two clerks be appointed
and thei~ compensation as such officers fixed,
NON THEREFORE, BE IT ~80LVED by the Board of Trustees of
the City of Vernon, that the following...nam.ed persons be, and they
are hereby appointed to offices set opposite theit names:

It is further resolved that the compensation of each of the
above-:named officers be, and it is hereby fixed at the sum of $10'.00
which sum shall be paid in the same manner and at the same time as
other claims against the City of Vernon are paid.
Further: That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to do any and all things necessary for the conduct of said election
in accordance with the laws governing the same.

that the foregoing resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees

of said city at a meeting thereof duly and regularly held on the
lOth. day of March, 1920.
