The matter of Street signs for the lec1ding streets of the City of
Vernon was brought u) by Trustee ICniffin.He Jresented the information
that approximately sixty siens auld be needed to re~lace old siGns
v!hich hu.ve been destro:'Ted bJ~ time .He stated tht ho had intervier/ed a
number of manufacturers mld the most reasonable ,.:)rice he \.as able to
o'ltain was $4.00 each,the 1;)oles to be 3"x 3".The Board decided tha-t
a 4"x 4" pole should be used and appointed :Mr.Kniffin to continue his
investigation and ascert<.dn the cost of a sign in which a 4" x 4JT gole
was used.
