REGULAR MEETING.
A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of
Vernon, County of Los Angeles, and State of Calig9oBia, was ield
on the 4th day of Apr .1922 ,l91 ,at I 0 I clock:lJp. M. of
said day at the regular meeting place of said Board in said City
of Vernon, which said time and place is the time and place fixed by
ordinance for regular meetings of the said Board to be held.
There were present at such meeting Trustees,
J.J.FurlongtKniffin.Durbin.Iornaday and J.B.Leonis.
There were absent from such meeting Trustee,

191 , were: read and approved.
Application of the 0uality Foundry & Mfg.Co. ~411 Modoc St. for a building
permit at East 26th & Boyle was read and approved providing that the
building is built at least l2 feet in from the property line.
Application of the So .Cal.Gas Co. for an excavation permit at 5'11'2 Santa
Pe .Ave was read and approved.
Application of the L.A.Gas & Elec.Corp.for an excavation permit at 2038
Junior St. was read and approved.
Application of the Remolite Paint Co. for a building permit at 2555 Bast
26th St. for the purpose of an office was read and approved.
Application of the Undited Dressed Beef Co. for a permit to build a
packing house was read and ordered referred to the Iealth Board and the
Board of Trustees for investigation and report.
Decision No.10266 granting the Santa Fe Ry.Co. permission to build a
spur track at grade across Eas~ 26th St.at Iobart Station in the City of
Vernon was read and ordered filed in the regu.lar manner.
Application of the General Petroleum Corp.for a franchise to build a pipe
line on East, 26th St.was read and the clerk advised to communicate with
them asking from them an ordinance for consideration.
Application of the Wilshire Oil Co. for a franchise on Eas1; R6th St.for a
pipe line was read and after discussion the attorney for the Co. was advi.
to obtain all data available to enable the Board to arrive at a valuation
Application of the So.Cal.Tel.Co.for permission to move their pole line on
the North side of East Vernon Ave.just east of Santa Fe Ave.from inside
the property line to a point in the public street was read and upon motion
duly made,seconded and carried was laid over until the next meeting.
Application of the Los Angeles & Salt Lake Ry.Co. to construct a railroad
spur track across Boyle and Magnolia Ave. in the City of Vernon was read ~
and ordered filed.
Application of John Monkoff for a revturant license at 382'1 Santa Fe Ave.
was ordered filed.
Their being no further business the meeting was adjourned upon motion
duly made,seconded and carried SUbject to the call of the chair.
