An adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the
Oity of Vernonl county of Los Angelesl State of california. was
held on the 2.7th day of ]'ebruary, 1912.9 at 10;00o'olook

said Oity of Vernonl whioh said plaoe is the plaoe fixed by ordi-
nanoe for regular meetings of said Board to be held, pursuant to
adjournment from the regular meeting held the 20 day of

Application of the Standard Oil Go.for Do. permit to build an oil station
at tme southeast corner of racific Blvd.and Santa Fe Ave. was read and
approved.
Application of the Commercial Vlelding Go. for a building permit on Lot
19 Blk.13 Eiuntington .2a.rk Extention llo .l.wa.s read and approved.
Applica.tion of the Southern Galif.Edison Co. for a building ~ermit at tbe
rear of 3715 Santa Fe Ave was read and laid over.
~pplication of Baash-Ross Tool Co. for a building permit on Boyle Ave
just north of Slauson ~~ve was read and approved.
Application of tfue Modern Iron .Iorks for a building permit on Lots,3.4.7.

read and approved.
Application of C.~I.Beverstock for a building permit at 2.041 East 38th St.
was read and laid over as tfue plans did not conform with the building
ordinance.

Application of the Jameson Oil Co. for a building ~ermit at 2.5Q1 East 28th
St. was read and approved.
Application of the Belyea Truck Co. for Do. building permit on the De La To~
Ranch on East 26th St.ws.s read and approved.
Application of the Mark ~tlg.Co. for a, building permit was Eead and laid
over awai tin~ report from the Ci ti Engineer.
Application of the Pioneer Paper Co. for a building permit was read and
laid over.
Application of the Standard Oil Co. for an excavation permit at the S.E.
corner of Pacific Blvd. and Santa Fe Ave was read and approved.
Applications of the Spauthern Calif Gas Co. for excavation permits at
the S.E.Cor.of ?acific Blvd.and Santa Fe Ave and 2.6~3 Fruitland Road for
the purpose of service connections were read and approved.
Amanded ordinancemof the Wilshire Oil Co.for a pipe line on East 26th
street was read and laid over,same being referred to the City Engineer
for checking the legal description wnd report.
The City A.ttorney reported to the Board of Trustees thS.t he ha6 reviewed tl
the 2 petitions asking for the exclusion of certain un1nhabited territory
from the City of Vernon.and that they were correct.After the City Clerk
had checked the nameS on said petitions the Board of Supervisors of the
Cdnmty should be advised that said petitions had been presented to this' -:t3

Board.Thereupon the City Clerk was asked to review the names on said
petition.checking said and if a sufficient number of names appeared to
certify said petition to the Board of Supervisors of said County.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned to the call of the
chair.
