A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of

of Vernon, which said time and place is the time and place fixed by
ordinance for regular meetings of the said Board to be held.

An ordinance fixing the amount of money necessary to be raised
by taxation as revenue to carryon various department of the
6ity of Vernon for the year 1923-34 and to pay the bonded
indebtedness of said City., was read and upon motion duly made
seconded and car,ied passed the second reading.
Tha above ordinance was read. jJ.nd upon motion duly made, seconded
and carried passed the third reading.
An ordinance providing for the iS2uing of Bonds of the City of
Vernon, for a Water Works System and Fire Alarm was read and
upon motion duly made, seconded and carried passed the second
reading.

An ordinance of the City of Vernon, regu~ating the construction
and rep..ir of residence and dwelling houses wi thin the said
City of!'1Vernon, providing for the isstiLing of a permit therefore
and repealing all Ordinance or parts of Brdinance in conflict
therein, was read and upon motion duly made, seconded and
carried passed the S.~o~d reading.
There being no f"uther business the meeting was adj ourned at
