It was moved by Trustee Durbin, seconded by Trustee Kniffin, and aarria
by the following vote, that bids received for the laying of a sewer
in East 57th Street, be opened:
Ayes: Trustees Durbin, Kniffin, and Furlong
Noes: None
Absent:Hornaday & Leonis
The following bids, being all that were received in response to posted
notices inviting bids for the East 57th street sewer were opened and
read by the Clerk, viz:

After the reading of the bids same were give to the City Engineer,
Howard McCurdy with request that he acertain ~he lowest bidder.
A motion was made, seconded and carried that the City Attorney be
instructed to check the 1egalty of the Bidders Bonds.
