Letter from the Boyle Mfg., Co., increasing their license. from Sixty dollars per year to One hundred tVventy dollars per year, was ordered filed and the City Clerk was instructed to write a letter of thanks to the Boyle Mfg Co. Application for a moving permit by the Los Angeles House Moving Co., to move a dwelling across East 37th Street between Ross st., and Irving street was read and granted. Application foe a building permit by the Emsco Press Forging Co., for the constructiD~ of a factory was granted. Application for a building permit by Hmdges & McMackin for the constTI of a warehouse was granted. Appplication by Laura DeIly for permission to operate a lunch wagon at the corner of 26th & Santa Fe Ave., was denied. Application by the Union Advertisi:p,.g Co., to construct and maintain bill bmards in the City of Vernon as laid over. Application by the Western, Pipe & Steel Co to construct a store Doom south of their plant was read and granted. Application by Abegg & Reinhold for a building permit was granted, s~ subject to corrections made by the City Engineer. Application fOD a building permit by the American Grinding Co., to construct a grinding plant was granted sQbject to corrections made by the City Engineer. Application for an excavation permit by the Los iwgeles Gas & Elect. Company for the removing of their present 3fT pipe and replacing same with 6Tl pipe was granted.
