REGULAR MEETING.
A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of
Vernon, County of Los Angeles, and State of California, was held
on the 4th day of March ' 19le4' atl.@ 0' clock P 11 M. of
said day at the regular meeting place of said Board in said City
of Vernon, which said time and place is the time and place fixed by
ordinance for regular meetings of the said Board to be held.
There were present at such meeting Trustees,

February 19th
1914 , were:
Application for abuilding permit by the Plaisteid Products Company
for a factory building on their preperty, located at Downey Road
and East 25th Street Vias read ani upon motion duly made seconded
and carried was granted.
Application for an excavation permit by the Southern California
Gas Company fer a gas connection at 3030 East Vernon Ave. was
read and upon motion duly made, seconded and carried was ')~alded.

Application for an excavation permit by the Remolite Paint Company,
for tje excavation for a 550 gallon tank to be put under the sidewalk
on East 38th Street was read and upon motion made and seconded ..s
reforred to the City hugineer.,
Application for a business license by the Vernon Packing Company was
read and granted, providing the necessary fees are paid, also the filini
of a m.p ef the plant~

application 'of the ConstUners Rock & Gravel Company fer the re-excavating
permit in the DeTurk Estate, was read and laid over until the 1~th of Ma~

Letter and specifications from the Los Angeles County Hegienal Planning
Commission regarding subdivisions was read and friered filed.

t. install 2 inCA and 2-1/2 inch iron pipe at 37th Street and Alamoda
and 38th Street and Alameda was read and referred to the City Engineer.
A petition circulated by H.E.Korns and Frank L.Ogg and Max Dyer for
permissien to operate a grinding plant at 2241 East 38th Street was
road and laid over until the meeting of March 11th 1924.
Resolution consolidating election precinis in the City 0'
Vornon and appeinting .lectien efficers to conduct the
general municipal olection te be held on Monday, April 14th a
1924, was read and upon motion duly made seconded and carried
was duly adopted.
A motion was duly made and seconded that Tru.stee .ue.nis and City Engineer
McCurdy be apl)ointed to represent the City of Vernon regarding Sewers.

Tke City Engineer was instructed to have a report on the bids submitted
