19240416 Regular City Council Meeting - Minutes ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING. A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of Vernon, County of Los Angeles, and State of California, was held on the 16th day of April. , 19~, at 280' clock P. M. of said day at the regular meeting place of said Board in said City of Vernon, which said time and place is the time and place fixed by ordinance for regular meetings of the said Board to be held. There were present at such meeting Trustees, Kniffin, Furlong Durbin There were absent from such meeting Trustee, Hornaday & Leonis President Trustee J.J.Furlong presiding. Communication from Whiting Mead Company regarding tlaeir spur track ~cr.ss E. Yernon avenue was read and ordered filed. "1 Application for permission by the Southern California ~elepAone Co., to set one 35 foot pole on sou.th side of 50t. Street, east of Santa Fo Avenue was read and granted. Application for permission by the Southern California ~elephone Co., to place one 35 foot pole on east side of Santa Fe avenue north of 58th Street was read and granted. CeBrrAunication from the California League Municipalities re~arding the dividing of the Motor Yehicle fines between the Cities and Counties, according to their assessed valua.tions was read and filed.
