SPECIAL
REGULAR MEETING.
A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of
Vernon, County of Los Angeles, and State of California, was held
on the 'rd day of :May , 19124, at 8 0' clock ;r!'. M. of
said day at the regular meeting place of said Board in said City
of Vernon, which said time and place is the time and place fixed by
ordinance for regular meetings of the said Board to be held.
There were present at such meeting Trustees,
Durbin, Le.nis, Furlong & YUliffin
There were absent from such meeting Trustee,
Vij~ Rickard Levy
President Trustee J.J .:Furlong presiding.
The minutes of the meeting, held on
April 25th 1924
191 , were: laid over.
This special meeting was called to act on building permits that
were laid over from previous meetings.
Application for a bUilding permit by the Sierra Aefining Co., fer
the construction of a stilling apparatus and tanks was read and
upon motion duly made seconded and carried was granted.
Ap~)lication for a building permit by S. Matsumura fer the addition
of one room to present residence on Fruitland Read was read and
en motion duly made seconded and carried was granted.
APplication for a building permit by Dr. Albert Moore for the
construction of a hospital at 56th & Santa Fe Avenue was read
and on motion duly made, seconded and carried was granted.
Application for abuilding permit by J.B.Leonis for the construction
of a brick building 100 feet east of Santa Fe Avenue on East
Vernon Avenue., was read and on motion duly made, seconded and carrie
was granted.
Application fpr a building permit by Sarket & Thompson to erect a
garage en the O'Donnell property loacted at 3030 East 25hh street Was
read and en motion duly made, seconded and carried was granted.

for the addition to their laboratory located on Bl.e~ D of the D&J
Star Tract.
Application for a building permit tl Qtrlin D. Smith for the "A..~
constractioJl of a real estate Office/located at 50th & Santa Fe AVe~
was read and on motion duly made seconded and carried was denied.
