Communication from the Pacifie Pipe & Supply Company regarding a shipment of pipe to be received on lune 5th 1924, was read and ordered filed. Application filed by Ale~der Clarkson for the position ef Engineer or pump man of the City of Vernon ~ater Works was read and ordered filed. - ORD. 31.4 Of the City of Vernon prohibiting open fires in said City was read and on motion duly made seconded and carried, passed the seeond reading.
