Application for an excub-u:ation ;lermi t by the Southern California Gas Co.,
for gas service at 3009 Easy 25th Street was read und granted.
.A.pplication for o.n e:z:cavation permit by the Southern valifornia Gas Co.,
to repair service at 2151 East 51st Street was read and granted.
.L~pplication for a building permit by lPrank l\oyt for the erection of a shed
at 2027 Junior street w~s read and granted.
Applic,ation for a building permit by the Hil tgartnel. lvIarble Co., for the
installation of a crane was read and 8ranted.
Application for a building permit by A.M.Brown for the construction of a
lumber shed for the Brown &; Derry Lumber Co., was read and granted.
Application for a building permit by Barbara Dauberman for the constructim
of a garage at 2033 Audrey Streot was read and granted.
Application by the So. Cal Telephone Co., for l)ermission to lay a. conduit
systam along Santa j!le Ave., was read and referr.eel. to Gi ty Engineer McCurdy
fir the amount of cash deposit for the repaving.
Application submitted by Jess E. harris for a position as motorcycle
officer was read and ordered filed.
Application for permission by the Standard .dacking Co etal for permission
to drive cattle from the L.A.Stnck Yards to the various packing houses
was read and ordered filed until a full board could act.
Letter from the Santa 11'e Railvi'ay Co., regarding the culvert located at
Downey Road and Bast 26th Street: The Santa .Jlle R.R. Co., reports that the
matter will receive their prompt attention.
Represeni tives of the Stanton Lumber Co. t Owens Barks LambeI' Co., Wad -the
Da.irymens Feed J.c Supply Co., weee present before the Board ~garding a.
complaint of the E.J.Stanton Lumber Co about the fire hazard at East 38th
~ Ross Streets. The various represenitives decided that they could remedy
the hazard themselves.
Acceptance of the So~thern Pacific Company, that upon six ty (60) days
not~ce the Southern ~acific Company, will gait and deliver up to the City
of emon right and tit1e to switchman's telephone booth to be loc~ted
on Alameda Street near ~ast 25th btreet. This acceptance Vias referred to t1B
