REGULAR MEETING.
A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of
Vernon, County of Los Angeles, and State of California, was held
on the 26th day of l~ovember , 19~4 , at J2) o'clock -P. M. of
said day at the regular meeting place of said Board in said City
of Vernon, which said time and place is the time and place fixed by
ordinance for regular meetings of the said Board to be held.
There were present at such meeting Trustees,
J.J.Furlong, Durbin, Kniffin, Leonis 8c.J...evy
There were absent from such meeting Trustee, .
None
President Trustee J.J.Furlong presiding.
The minutes of the meeting, held on

Pursuant to adjourment of the regular meeting of the .Board of Trustees held
on the 18th day of November 19~4.
The meeting was called to order b~ J.J.Furlong.
At this time the City Engineer reported that he did not as yet have time to
cheok up on Resolution 335.
Moved by Levy, seconded by Durbin that the said Engineer be given more time.
Motion oarried.
The City Engineer rported that the bid of the Union Tank &; Pipe Co., was the
lowest responsible aid for the drilling of the well on the city's property
and reoommended that all bids be rejected except the bid of the Union Tank
&; Pipe Co., and that the Cit~ Attorney be instructed to draw a oontraot for
the same. Motion carried.
It was further reoommended by thic City Engineer that tIie contrl:4ct for the
furnishing of Qne 6 inoh gate valve be awarded to the Crane Company; and the
oontraot for 2-8 inoh and one 10 inch gate valves be awarded t, 0 the ~'later
Works Supply Co, an ordBe for same to be plaoedby the City Clerk.
Moved by Durbin, seoonded by Kniffin that the recommendations of the said
contract be concurred in. Motion carried.

were read.
Moved by Levy, seconded by Durbin th$t the applications be filed and permits
be granted. Motion carried.
Appl;cation for the sewer permit, being a.lplication Ho. 431, was read.
Moved by Durbin, seconded by Levy that the applications be filed and permit
granted. Motion carried.
Application for thr removal of the Globe Foundry Building, being application
No. 430 and signed by Charles. .:?rotto, was read.
Moved by Durbin, seconded by Levy, that the application be filed and permit
granted. Motion carried.
Application of G.J.Poxon, being application 423 for permit to build a garage
at 2300 E. 52nd Street was read.
Moved by Durbin, seconded by Levy that applicaion be filed and tJermit granted.
Motion carried.
Applioation 433 of the Boyle Mfg. Co., for permit to erect ..c.l. building was rebct

There being no further business to come before the Board, it was moved by
Durbin and seconded by Levy that the meeting be adjourned. Motion carried.
