19250127 Regular City Council Meeting - Minutes
REGULAR MEETING.
A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of
Vernon, County of Los Angeles, and State of California, was held
on the 2'l1i~ day of January , 19~6, at ~ 0' clock ~. M. of
said day at the regular meeting place of said Board in said City
of Vernon, which said time and place is the time and place fixed by
ordinance for regular meetings of the said Board to be held.
There were present at such meeting Trustees,
J.J.Furlong, Levy and Kniffin.
There were absent from such meeting Trustee,
Leonia and Durbin.
President Trustee J.J.Furlong presiding.
The minutes of the meeting, held on
January 20th 1925 19l ,.were: laid over.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman J.J.Furlong anf the followi~
business put in order.

~~LICATION NO. 479, for an excavation permit by H.a.~atton for a sewer
connection to the Western Pron ~ Metal company located aD East 26th
Street and Santa Fe Avenue.
Moved by Kniffin, seconded by Levy that the ap.olicationbe filed and a
permit be issued to H.H.Patton for an excavation at East 26th Street and
Santa te Ave. Motion carried.
The City Engineer was instructed to notify the Southern California Gas
Company to moved their pipe line on Center Avenue to location stated on
franchise on file in the Clerks office.
It was moved by Levy and seconded by Kniffin that the meeting adjourn
to the call of the chair. Motion carried.
