REGULAR MEETING.
A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of
Vernon, County of Los Angeles, and State of California, was held
on the 10th day of March , 19l26, atl.Q 0' clock -. M. of
said day at the regular meeting place of said Board in said City
of Vernon, which said time and place is the time and place fixed by
ordinance for regular meetings of the said Board to be held.
There were present at such meeting Trustees,
J.J.Furlong, Kniffin, Levy, and Durbin.
There were absent from such meeting Trustee,
Leonis.

ORDINANCE 349: An ordinance providing for the issuing of ~5b,OOO.QO
Water Works Improvement Bonds and $ 15,000.00 of Fire Alarm Improvement
Bonds of the City of Vernon, wa~read in full for the second reading.
It was moved by Levy and seconded by Durbin that Ordinance 349 be passed
for a second reading. Motion carried; y the following vote: Ayes; Furlong
Kniffin, levy and Durbin. Noes None.
ORDINANCE 349: Was read for the third reading.
It Was moved by Durbin and seconded by Kniffin that ordinance 349 be
adopted. The motion was carried by the following vote: Ayes Messrs,
Furlong, Kniffin, Levy and Durbin. Noes none.
RESOLUTION 354: A resolution of the Board of Trustees of the City of
Vernon direscting the City Clerk to advertise thesale of Bonds, as set
forth in ordinance 349, and to notif.y the Treasurer and the Board of ~
Coatrol of the State of California of the propes4d sale in the manner
reqUired by law, was read.
It was moved by Durbin and seconded by Levy that Resolution 354 be adopt.
Motion carried.
It was moved by Durbin and seconded by Levy that the City Clerk of the
City of Vernon advertise for bids for cast iron pipe and fittings; that
the bids be received for same March 24th 1925 Motion carried.
It \:as moved by Durbin and seconded by Levy that the City Clerk be ins.
tru::;:ted to adbertise.. for bids for the' construction of the sanitary sewer
in ~ection 1 of the Wantiary ~ewer District of the City of Vernon.
Motion carried.
It was moved by Levy and seconded by Kniffin that the meeting be adjour-
ned. Motion carried.
