ADJOURUED
REGULAR MEETING.
A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of
Vernon, County of Los Angeles, and State of California, was held
on the 31: day of March , 19~5, at :J:P 0' c1ockAp. M. of
said day at the regular meeting place of said Board in said City
of Vernon, which said time and place is the time and place fixed by
ordinance for regular meetings of the said Board to be held.
There were present at such meeting Trustees,
Furlong, ~eonis,Kniffin, and Durbin.
There were absent from such meeting Trustee,

The minutes of the meeting, held on
March 25th 1925,
191 , were: read.
It was moved by Durbin and seconded by Kniffin that the minates be appr-
oved as read. Motion Carried.
RESO: 355, It was moved by teonis and seconded by Durbin that Resolution
355 be rescinded and the City Clerk be instructed to cancell the advort-
ising for the 2&le of bonds referred to in said resolution, and the City
Attorney be instructed to notify all bond buyers on the last issue of
bonds, as to the Board's action. Motion carried.
At this time the City Clerk informed the Board that he had two bids from
~~e Citizens liational Company, oz:.e on the p~rchase of the. $15,O?O. City
F~re Alarm Botids and one on the ~,~455,OOOIl CJ.ty of Vernon "'at~r Works
Improvement Bonds, together with certified checks in the sum of ~;300.00
and $9,100. respectively, and that the said bids were subject to immed.
i~te acceptance abd prompt delivery of bonds.
It was moyed by Durbin and seconded by Kniffin that the bids of the
Citizens National Company for the Vernon Water Works Improvement Bonds
and the ~rnon Fire ala~ System Bends be accepted.
There being no further business, it was moved by uurbin and seconded b~
Kniffin that the meeting adjourn. Motion carried.
