REGULAR MEETING.
A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of
Vernon, County of Los Angeles, and State of California, was held
on the 27th day of June ' 19~5' at Do' clock .~ M. of
said day at the regular meeting place of said Board in said City
of Vernon, wh1ch said time and place is the time and place fixed by
ordinance for regular meetings of the said Board to be held.
There were present at such meeting Trustees,
Levy, Furlong and Durbin.
There were absent from such meeting Trustee,
Kniffin and Leonis.
President Trustee
J.J.Furlong
presiding.

The minutes of the meeting, held on
June 23rd, 2'th 1925 191 were: laid over.

A motion was made by Durbin and seconded by Levy that the reading
of the minutes of the meeting of June 23rd and 26th be laid over.
Motion carried.
The City Engineer reported that the bid submitted by S.F.vatey was the
lowest bid submitted for drilling well No.3.
A motion was made by Durbin and seconded by tevy that all bids submitte4
for the constructeion and drilling of well No. 3 be rejected and checks
and bonds returned excepting the bis submitted by S.F.Catey. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Durbin and seconded by Levy that S.F.Gatey be
awarded the contract for drilling well No.3. Motion carried.
The City Clerk reported that a petition was filed with him for the
annexation of a certain piece of property East of Downey Road.
A motion was made by Levy and seconded by Durbin that the City Clerk
check the names on the petition submitted with the Great rtegister of
the County of Los Angeles. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Durbin and seconded by Levy that the City Clerk
be instructed to advertise for bids for the patching and repairing
of streets in the City of Vernon for the fiscal year starting July 1st
1925. Motion carried.
It was moved by Durbin .and seconded by Levy that the meeting adjourn until
