MINUTES OF AN ADJOUREED MEETING OF THE: BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF VERNON HELD ON TEE
23rd day of 1lARCH, 1926, at the CITY HALL.
VERNON.
The meeting was ca~led to order by the President,
J. J. Furlong, at 8 otcloek P.1T.
The trustees present were: Leonis. Durbin and
Furlong.
The trustees absent were: Levy and Kniffin.
At this time Mr. Leonis reported that the fire
commission had appointed .Tohn .1. Gibbins as hoseman in the
city's fire department, at a salary of $l50.00 per month.

Moved by Leonis, seconded by Durbin, that the
appointment o~ John J. Gibbins be approved. Motion carried.
Demand was made on construction fund No. 2 of
$63.l0..75.
Moved by Durbin. seconded by Leonis. that the
demand be a11awed and warrant drawn. Motion carried.

meeting adjourn. Motion carried.
