MINUTES OF THEADJ'OURNED BGULAR :MEETING OF THE
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE C lIT OF VERNON HELD ON THE
11th DAY OF OCTOBER. 1926, AT THE CITY HALL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON, 4305 SANTA FE AVENUE, VERNON, CALIFORNIA.
The meeting was called to order by the President,
.1'. .1'. Furlong, at 8 otclock P. M.

The Trusteea absent were:
Leonis and Furlong.
Durbin, Kniffin and Levy.
l.t was moved by :B'U:i:ldng and seconded by Leonis that the
minutes of the meeting of October 4, 192-6. be laid over until.
the next regular meeting. Motion carried.
At this time there was no quorum present.
The City Clerk reported to the Chairman of the Board
and members present that this was the time and place set for
the hearing of protests to the improvement of Slauson Avenue
and that no protests had been filed with him. The Chairman
a.sked if there was anyone present in the audience who had
any objections to the improvement of Slauson Avenue and
none responding
It wa.s moved by Leonis and seconded by Furlong, the
only members present, that this meeting adjourn to the
r'egular meeting on Octocer 18, 1926. Motion carried.
