The minutes af the meetings of December 5th~. 6th, 19th
and 29th , were read.
It was moved by Leonis and see-onded by Durbin that the
minutes be a.pprovid as rea.d. Motion carried.
.A. communication from. the Big 7 Fertili~er Works for
permission to aperate a fertili~er warehouse on the 0 tDmmell:
property.. was read.
It was mo'iied by Durbin and seconded by Leans that the
matter be laid over until the next regula.r meeting. Motion
earr ied.
A cOIIDIlunication from the Pacific Pipe & Tank Company,
for permission to haul refuse from their property located at
49th and Santa Fe Avenue to the dumping grounds 0utside af the
City of Vernon. was read.
It wa.s moved by Leonis and seconded. by Durbin tha.t the
eommunication be fi1ed and the permit granted. Motion carried.
The report of the Railroad. Commission on the spur track
franchise in the alley between East 37th and East 38th streets"
was read..
It was. moved by Durbin a.nd seconded by Leon1s that the
same be fi1ed. Motion carried..
RESOLUTION NO. 503: A Resolution of the City Council of the City
of Vernon abandoning proceedings on Topeka Avenue owing to a
defect in sa.id proceedings,. was read.
It was moved by Durbin and seconded by Leonis that
Resolution No. 503 be adapted. Motion carried.
RESOLUTION NO. 504: A Resolution of the City Council of the City
of Vernon adopting plans and specifications far the improvement af
:Ba.ndini Boulevard. in the City of Vernon.. between the easter1.y right
of way line of the San Pedro Bra.nch of the Los Ange1es and Sa.1.t
Lake Ra;.ilroa.d and the easterly boundary line of the City of Vernon.
It was moved. by Leonis and seconded. by Durbin that
Resolution No.. 504 be a.dopted. Motion carried..
RESOLUTION NO. 5015: A Resolution of the C1 ty Council. of the C1 ty
of Vernon approving map of an assessment district for the improve-
ment of BaDdini Boulevard in the City of Vsrnon. between the ea.sterly
right of way line of the San Pedro Branch of the Los Angeles and
6&1 t Lake B&il.road and the euterly boundary line of the City of
Vernon.

Resolution ]fo. 505 be adopted. Motion c:a.rried.
RESOLUTION NO. 506:: A Resolution of the City Council. of the aity
of Vernon tieelaring their intention to order certain work and im-
provement to be made on Bandin:1.Boulevard in the aity of' Verno.n.
bet1llleen the easterly right of way line of the San Pedro. Branch o.f
the Lo.s Angeles a.nd Sa,l:t Lake Railroad and the easterly bcnmdary
line of the City of Vernon.
It was moved by Leon.is and seconded by Durbin tha.t
Resolution No. 506 be adopted. Motion carried.

improvement to be made on. Topeka Avenue in the aity of Vernon,
between the west line of Santa. Fe Avenue and a point ten (lO) :teet
easterly :from the ea.st line of Alameda Street.
It was moved by Leoni.s and seconded by Durbin that
Resolution No. 509 be: adopted. llotion carried.
APPLICATION NO. 1.363....A:: By Sa.few~y St.ores" Inc.,. for a building
permit for the eonstructio.n of an incinerator at Vernan a.nd
Alameda Streets, approximate cost $1500.00, was read.
It was moved by Durbin and seconded by Leonis that the
app1.ication be :filed and the permit granted. Motion carried.

It was moved by Leonis and seconded by Durbin that

was read.
