It wa.s moved by Du:rbin a.nd secanded by Levy that the communication be filed and the permit granted. Motion. ca.rried. A.t this time the City Atto.rney reported that he had been in co.nference with the officers of the Vernon IndustriaJL Develop- ment C'ompany and ha.d entered into negotiations toward advertising - 1 - 8 and promot.ing the welfare of the CIty of Vernon" and submitted ORDnrA.Nc.:E IiQ.. 408.: which was read for first reading. It was moved by Durbin and seconded by Iifny that Ordinance No.. be passed for first reading. Iotion carried.
