The meeting was called- to order by the Mayor, :r. :1.
Furlong.
TIle Counc.ilmen present were: Furlong,. Durbin and
Leonis.
The Councilmen absent were:
Levy and Kniffin.
It was moved by Leonis a.nd seconded by Durbin that the
reading of t.he minutes of' the adj ourned meeting of Ma.rch 21st,.
and the meeting of April 2nd. be laid over until April 17th.1928.

At this time the City Clerk annaunced that this was the
time and place pravided by law far the canvassing of the vates
cast at the last general municipal election held in the City af
Vernon an April. 9th, 1928. The Cauncil. then prac.eeded. to' canvass
the vates. At the completian of the canvaas Councilman Durbin
introduced
RESOLUTION NO. 515:- A Reaol.ution deal-aring the reaults of the
elec.tion held in the City o,r Vernon April 9. 1928,. and maved its
a.doption, which was duly aeconded by C-ouncilman Leanis. and
carried.
It was moved by Durbin and seconded by Leonie that
the meeting adjourn lintil April 17. 1928, a.t eight o'clack P.M.
Motion carried.
