It was moved by Levy, seco.nded by Durbin that the minutes be a.pproved as read. Motion carried. Communication from H. H. Isa.a.ca, Refinery Inspector, regarding application of the Pan Pacific Oil Company for a can filling plant to be located on East 30th Street, was read. It was moved by Levy, seconded by Duro.in that the matter be laid over untiL the next meeting. owing to a defect in the applicat ion. Mot ion carried. ORDINANCE NO. 418: .An ordinance regulating and licensing metal Junk dealers in the City of Vernon, was read for second reading. It was moved by Levy, seconded by Durbin that Ordinance No. 418 be passed for second reading. Motion carried.
