COuncilmen present: Councilmen absent : Durbin, Furlong and Leonis Kniffin and Levy It was mQved by Durb:in, seconded by Lecmis that the reading of the minutes of the previous meeting be dispensed with. Motion carried. Communication from the Boyle llanutacturing Co. complaining of automobiles parked in front of their display windows on Santa :Fe Avenue, was read. It was moved 'by Leonie, seconded by Durbin that the cammunication be filed and the matter referred to the CIty Attorney with instructions to bring in an ordinance on the subject for the approval. of the Board. Motion carried. Communication from the Slavick Jewelry Company requesting a permit be issued to E. E. Aughe to so.lieit jewelry orders, was read. It was moved by Durbin, seconded. by Leonis that the matter be referred to the P.olice Depqrtment. llotion carried.
