The; City ClBrk then advised the Council that this was the time and place fixed pursuant to sta.tute and notice given for- the he.aring in the matter of the /iUi}- liessment for the impxovement of Rut Fifty-f ourth Street, a.s. contemplated by Resolut ion of Intent ion No. 5.96, adopted on the 21st day of July, 1930. The Clerk al.so informed the C:ouneil that affidavits of the posting and publishing of the Notice of Filing Assessment were fil.ed in his of- fice, a.nd that no written appeals or objecrtions had been filed in his office prior to the day set for the hearing.
