The meeting was d&lled to order by the lIIay-or, 3'. J'.
Councilmen present: ]'ur1 ong, Leonis, Durbin,
Vart in, Levy
Councilmen absen~: None
It was moved by Durbin, seconded by Leonis, ~h&t
the reading of the Minut es of the prey ious meet ing be dis-
pensed vvith. Mot ion carried.
A.t this time the Sewer Committee submitted a. con-
tra.ct for addi t lonal sewerage for the City of Vernon, said
contract being drawn by ~he City of Los Angeles, and the
Committee recommended tha.t ~he contract so submitted be
approved a.nd that the Mayor and City Clerk be instrueted
to execute same in the name of the city.
It was moved by Durbin, seconded by Levy, that
the contract submitted by the City of Los Angeles to the
Cit.y of Vernon be, and t.he same is hereby, approved a.nd
accepted, and tha.t the Mayor a.nd City Clerk be instructed,
r.tuthorized and empowered to sign same in the name of the
City of Vernon. Motion carried.
