Motion carried. Report of the. City Eng iua er on bids f or the well pump receiTed, and the Engineer recommended tha.t a.l1 bids be rejec:ted with the exception of the bid for the repair of the pump of the Peerless. Pump Compa.ny, a.nd tha.t that "hid be aceept: eel. It Waf! moved by Martin, seconded by Leanis, tha.t. the recommenda.tion of the City Engineer be concurred in, tha.~ al~ bids be rej eated except the bid of the .Peer~ess Pump Company, a.nd that the eoIItraet be awarded to. the Peer- less Pump Company, in aceord.8.nce with the Ci1y Engineer-ts recommendation, and that the City Attorney be instructed to. draw a contract, a.nd the Mayor and City Clerk are auth- orized to sign same in the name of the Cit.y. It was moved by Leonis, seconded by :Martin~ that the the report of the City Engineer be fil.ed. Motion carried. At this time the City Attorney reported that the form of easement given to the City by the Santa Fe Rail.way on its storm dra.in wa.s correct. It was moved by Martin, seconded by Leonis, that the report of the City At torney be accepted, and that he be in..;. strueted to approve form of easement in \"lri tinge Mot ion carri ed . At this time the City Attorney req,uested the City Counc il to employ E. R. Young a.s consulting attorney tlpon the plans, specifications, bids and contra.cts to be drawn by the Ci"ty Attorney on the power pla.nt, at a reasonable comp.ensa- tion to be a.pproved by the City Council. It waa moved by Martin, seconded by Leonis, that the request of the City Attorney be complied with, a.nd that X.
