Communication from Carl A~ Heinze, consuJ.t:ing electric engineer, wherein said enginee~ gave his opinio.n a.nd recommendat ion for the location of the site for the genera.ting pow!er plant for eaid city, together with a. drawing showing the proposed locat ion of building, yards, etc., was read. It was moved by Durbin, seconded by Martin, that the communi cat ion be received a.nd filed. Mot ion carried. At this time Councilman Levy introduced Ordinance No. 443, an ordina.nce ordering the condemna.tion of ce~tain property described in said Ordina.nce for a public use, to-wit: For the purpose of erecting a per- manent building thereon for the ~ousing of a Diesel electric generating power plant, together with cooling towers, oil etorage tanks and other appurtena.nces in donnection vlith the electric generating power plant, and moved that it be passed for first reading, which was seconded by Durbin, a.nd carried. ORDINANCE NO. 443i wae read for second reading. It wa.s moved by Levy, seconded by Durbin, 'that Ordinance No. 443 be pa.saed for second reading. Mot ion carried.
