The meeting was called to order by the Mayor. J'. :I.

It was moved by Durbin, seconded by Martin, that
the rea.ding of the Minu'tes of the previous meeting be dis-
pensed with. Motion aarrled.
A.t this time Councilman Durbin introdueed Reso1.u-
tion No. 65&. a. resolution approving Plan Ito. 413 and
Specifieations No. 32, a.nd moved its adoption. which was
. seconded by Councilman Jl&rtin. and ca.rried.
Councilman Durbin introduaed Resolution No. 65'1,
a resolution fixing the prevailing rate per diem wages for
work to be done pursuant to Plan No. 413 a.nd Specifie:ationa
No. 32, and moved its adoption, which was seconded by
COuncilman Martin, a.nd carried.

bids for the doing of the work set forth in Speeifica.tiona No.
32. Motion carried.
Application 29l5, of the :National Packing C'4mp&ny, for
pe.rmit to repa.ir building" approved by the crity Enginear, was read.
It was moved by Durlain, seconded by l!a.rtin, that the,
application be filed a.nd permit granted. Motion ca.rried.
Communication from Krempel &: Erkaa, for permit to wrack
a portion of the building on the northeast corner of Santa ~e
Avenue a.nd Ver'non Avenue, the same being approved by the City
Engineer, was read.
It wa.s moved by Durbin, seconded by Martin.. that the
application be filed and the permit granted. Motion carried.
Lt this time the Fire Chief requested the City Council
to purcha.se ase,cond hand truck. to be used for transporting hose
from the scene of a fire to the atation.
It was moved by Ma.rtin, seconded by Durbin, that a pur-
cha.se order be issued for the purchase of a second hand truck,
the price not to exceed 150.00. Motion ca.rried.
