The meeting was called to order by the Mayor,
J. J. Furlong.

It was moved by Leonis, seconded by Durbin, tha.t the
reading of the Minu'tes of the previous meeting be dispenaed with.
Motion carried.
Certified copy of resolution adopted by Oakland City
Council, opposing the diversion of State High\v&y Funds, weas read.
the same being laid over from the meeting of .Tuly 5, 1932.
It was moved by Durbin, seconded by Leonis, that the
same be referred to the City Attorney. Motion carried.

freight elevator.
Councilman Leonie introduced Resolution No. 660, a
resolution approving specifications for the furnishing and
erecting of on.e hydro-eleetric three (3) ton freight elevator,
and moved its a.doption. which was seconded by Councilman li'artin,
and carried.
At this time. Cauneilman Durbin of the Water a.nd PO'wer
Cammittee introduced ReElolution NO'. 661, a. resolutiO'n fixing the
ra.te per diem pursuant to Specificatians Ho. 33, a.nd moved ita
adoptiol1, which wa.s seconded by Councilman lIartin, a.nd carried.
It was moved by Durbin and seconded by Martin. that the
City Clerk be authorized to advertise for bids for the furnishing
a.nd erecting of one hydro-electric three t3} ton freight elevator.
