The meeting was called to order by the :Mayor, :I. .T.

It was moved by Levy, seconded by Durbin, that the
rea.ding of the Minutes of the previous meeting be dispensed
VI i th. Bot ion ca.rri ed .
The Committee on Water &; Power a.t this time sub-
mitted Resolution !ro. 682, adopting Specifications No. 47.
It was moved by Durbin, seconded by Levy, that
Resolution No. 682 be adopted, and tha-t the City Clerk be
instructed to advertise for bids for the furnishing and de-
livering of certain gates for the City's power plant. ){o-

At this time the Committee on Water & Power sub-
mitted the report of the City Engineel'~ recommending that
f!ll bids for valve., exae.pt the bid of' Rensaela.er Valve Co..
be rej ected, and tha.t the Renss.el.a.er Valve Company be awarded
the contract for the furnishing of all valves on Schedule
1 of Specifications No. 4.3., and the 24tt, 20ft and 18lt valves
on Schedule 2.
It Vias moved by Levy, seconded by Durbin, that the
recommendation of the City Engineex be accepted, and that the
Rensselaer Valve Co. be awarded the contract for the furnish-
ing to the City of all va.lves on Schedule 1. and the: 24", 20.
and 18" valves on Schedule 2, o.f Specifica.tions No. 43. Motion
carried.
At this time the Committee on Water & Power sub-
mitted the report of the City Engineer for the furnishing of
cert a.in cast i1'o.n pipe under Spe c if ications No. 42, set forth
in said recommendat ion.
It was moved by Durbin, seconded by Levy, tha.t the
bid of the Nat ional Cast Iron Pipe Company be acc:epted for
the furnishing of all 24", 20., 1.8tt, 1.6- and 12" cast iron pipe
of the bel1. and spigat type, and a.ll 18", 15ft and 12ft cast iron
pipe of the. :flange type, a.nd all 18ft, 16. and 12- sleeve. type
c-oup1.imga,. and tha.~ it be a.warded the contract, and tha.t all.
other bide for the furnishing of said equipment be rejected.
Motion carried.
It was moved by Durbin, seconded by Levy, that the
meeting adj ourn. Motion carried.
