At this time the Committee on fi;tar &: Power
reported that, upon the reC'ommendation of the Engineering
Department, al~ bids be rejected for the furnishing of
Item I, statioD eoDtro~ and re~a.y board, desen. bed in
Specificatio&S Xo. 45, except the bid of the :Benjamin
Electric: eom:pa~ and tha't it be awarded the contraet at
the price named in its bid.
It was moved by Durbin, seconded by Leonis. that
all bids be rejected for the furnishing of Item I. station
eOIltrol and rellQ- board, described in Specificat ions lfo.
45, except the bid of the Benjamin. E:~eetric Company, and
that it be awarded the contr&e"t, and. that the City C1erk be
instructed to return all cheeks to musueeesaful bidders.

the City Council tha.t all bids be rejected for Items II,
III, IV, 11, VI a.nd VII of Specifications Ho. 4S, exeep,t the
bid o:f the Diamond E~eexric Company, and that it be awarded
the contrad for the furnishing of said items at the price
named in its bid.
It was moved by Durbin, seconded by Leonls, that
all. bids be r'ejec:ted for the furnishing of Items II, III, IV',
V, VI and VII, as described in Specifications No. 45, ex.cept
the bid of the Diamond Eleetric Company, and that it be awarded
the contract for the furnishing and install.ing of said equip-
ment at the price. named in its bid, a.nd tha.'t tbe Ci.ty Cl.erk
be instructed to return al.l checks to unsucc:essful. bidders.
Motion carried.
At this time the Committee on Water 8c Power sub-
mitted Spec.ifieatio.ns Ro. SI, for the furnishing and installing
of ten smoke stacks at the city's power p~ant, and. recommended
that the eity Council approve said spec if ic&tions.
Councilman Durbin introduc.ed RESOLUTION NO. 690, ...
Resolution approving Spec.ifica..tions No. 51, and. moved its
adoption, which wa.s secol1ded by Counc ilman Leonis, and carried.
Councilman. Durbia introduced RESOLUTION NO. 691, a.
Resolut ion declaring the prevailing rate per diem wages for
~a.bor to be tierformed in the furnishing, inata.ll.ing and de-
l.ivering at ten steel stacks, described in Specifications Ro.
S1., and moved it s adopt ion., whieh was seconded by Councilman
Leonis a.nd carried.
It was moved by Durbin, seconded by Leonis, that
the City Clerk be instructed to advertise for bids for' fur-
nishing and erect iag said t en smoke sta.cks as described
in Specifications No. Sl. Motion carried.
