the City Clerk be a.uthorized and instructed to advertise
for bids for the furnishing of the equipment set forth in
Specifications No. 57. Motion carried.

RESOLUTION NO. 703, a resolution approving
Specifications No. 58, for the furnishing a.nd deliver-
ing or poles to the City, Vla.S re~d.
It was moved by Durb in, see oIlded by Levy, tha.t
Resolution No. 103 be adapted. Motion carried.
At this time the. City Engineer reported. to the
City Council that in his opinion it would be far the best
interest of the city and the convenience ~ it~ citizens
that al.1. the superv isili1g offices should be in the City
Hall and tha"t the warehousing of all electric equipment
should be at or near the City Hall so that same CQuld be
under the direct superv ision o.f the City Engineer's office,
a.nd that the distribution of electricity to the citizens
ill' Vernon could be more economica.lly hand.led in this man-
ner; and suggested that the City should buy additioual
property adJ oining the City Hall grQunds.

a committee consisting of the llf.I8.YOr, City Engineer and
City Attorney be al;point ed to invest igate the recommenda-
tions of the City .illngineer, a.nd to report their findtBg8
