The meeting was called to order by the Mayor, j. j.
Councilmen present: Furlong, Durbin, Peralta
Councilmen absent: Leonis, Levy
It was. moved by Durbin, seconded by Peral.ta., that
the reading of the Minutes of the prev ious meet ing be dis-
p;ensed with. Mot ion carried.
ORDINANCE NO. 467, an ordinanae fixing the tax
rate for the fiscal year 1933-34, was read for second
reading.
It was moved by Durbin, seconded by Peralta,
that Ordinance No. 467 be passed for second reading. Mo-
tion carried.
ORDINANCE NO. 467, an ordinance fixing the tax
rate for t.he fiscal year 1933-34, was rea.d for third and
final reading..
It was moved by Durbin, seconded by Pera~ta, that
Ordinance No. 46"1 be adopted. Motion passed by the follow-
ing vote:

Resignation of C1.a.re Enyeart from the office of
City Judge was read.
It~as moved by Durbin, seconded by Peralta, that
the resignation be aceepted. Motioa oarried.
HRSOLUTION NO. "137, a res01ution appointing
Car'bon B. Hubbard to the offiae of City .rudge, at a sa1a.ry
of $"15.00 per month, to cont inue at the pleasure of the
City Council, was read.
It was moved by Pera.1ta, seconded by Durbin, that
Re.solution No.. 737 be adopted. Motion carried.
Communication from Ace Art & Commercial Sand
Blasters, for permit to conduct sand blast ing busines.s at
2312 East 37th Street, was read.
It was. moved by Durbin, seconded by Peralta,
that the application he filed and permit granted. Mot ion
carried.
The following applications, having the appr'oval
of the City Engineer, were read:

permit for addit ion to office at 3263 East 26th Street.

Avenue, was read.
It Was moved by Peralta, seconded by Durbin, that
